Are you interested in volunteering with the Solidarity Budget? If so, please complete the form below so we can connect you to the appropriate team lead. Below is a brief description of each team. We look forward to meeting you and working with you to win ALL our demands for the 2024 Budget.

Teams will include the following:

Art & Comms Team - Create social media posts, press releases, and other communications about Solidarity Budget on the most forward facing squad of political education.

Budget Analysis team - Review the Mayor’s proposed budget and Council’s proposed amendments to see how they align with our demands.

Endorsements Team - Outreach to organizations and individuals about endorsing the Solidarity Budget Guarantees.

Event & Activities Team - Organize and plan events to provide education around the budget process and Solidarity Budget. Meet with councilmembers about Solidarity Budget and help others setup meetings & prepare for meetings with councilmembers. Organize direct actions focused on the budget. Take advantage of public comment opportunities to express support for Solidarity Budget.

Newsletter Team - Getting the word out about what is happening in the city and how it impacts us, and also sharing what SSB is up to and how people can get involved.

Outreach & Recruitment - The best way to connect with people is in person, and often the best place to do that is where they are. This includes tabling and canvassing, and so much more.
